Mercedes-AMG has unveiled the CLE53, a high-performance coupe based on the CLE model. Powered by an updated 3.0-liter inline-6 engine with a turbocharger, electric auxiliary compressor, and a 48-volt mild-hybrid system, the CLE53 produces 443 horsepower and 413 pound-feet of torque. It features wider fenders, larger brakes, all-wheel drive, and rear-wheel steering. The exterior design is more aggressive, with flared fenders, a Panamericana grille, and quad exhaust tips. The CLE53 will be available in the U.S. in 2024, with pricing expected to start around $80,000. A range-topping CLE63 model is also expected to be released later.
