7.5 million Baby Shark toys recalled over impalement risk.
Zuru has recalled over 7 million "Baby Shark" swimming toys due to risks of impalement, laceration, and puncture wounds. The recall includes 6.5 million full-size Robo Alive Junior Baby Shark Sing & Swim Bath Toys and 1 million mini Robo Alive Junior Mini Baby Shark Swimming Bath Toys sold at major retailers such as Walmart, Target, and Amazon. The Consumer Product Safety Product Commission (CPSC) has received reports of children falling on or sitting on the hard plastic top fin of the shark, resulting in impalement injuries, lacerations, and puncture wounds. Consumers are urged to stop using the recalled toys and contact the company for a full refund.
