Dlala Studios and Disney have released a new story trailer for the upcoming game Disney Illusion Island, a "Mickeyvania" exclusive to the Nintendo Switch. The trailer introduces the main characters - Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, Donald Duck, and Goofy - who arrive on the island of Monoth and embark on a platforming adventure to help its people. Disney Illusion Island is a four-player cooperative 2D platformer from Dlala Studios that seeks to combine the joy of traversal in a seamless, massive world with that signature Disney magic. The game is inspired by Metroidvania games, but it is focused on the platforming aspect. The entire campaign is playable in four-player co-op, and each character plays the same but feels different thanks to each of their animation styles. The game has a joyous comedic tone that echoes the animated shows and movies we know these characters from so well.
