"Candela Obscura: Critical Role's New RPG with Free Quickstart Guide"
Critical Role's Darrington Press has released a quickstart guide for their new tabletop RPG, Illuminated Worlds, which will be the basis for their upcoming livestreaming series, Candela Obscura. The game features a narrative, cinematic play style with a dice pool system based on three drives - nerve, cunning, and intuition. The game includes five classes with two subclasses each and custom character sheets. Candela Obscura premieres on Twitch and YouTube on Thursday at 7 p.m. PT.
