
Stowaway on JFK-Paris Flight Faces Federal Charges and Lawsuit
Svetlana Dali, a 57-year-old Russian woman, has been charged with sneaking onto a Delta Air Lines flight from New York to Paris without a boarding pass. She was arrested by the FBI upon her return to New York and is currently detained pending a bail hearing. Dali allegedly bypassed TSA security by entering through a lane for airline employees and boarded the plane unnoticed. She admitted to the FBI that she intentionally evaded security to travel without a ticket. Dali has also filed a civil lawsuit against various authorities, claiming past abuse.
