Architect David Adjaye no longer working with Multnomah County Library
Multnomah County Library in Oregon has ended its association with architect David Adjaye following allegations of sexual misconduct against him. The library had previously announced Adjaye's involvement in the design team for its east county flagship location. However, in light of the accusations, the library has decided that Adjaye will not be working on the project going forward. Holst Architecture remains the prime architect for the 95,000 square-foot building, and the project will continue as planned. Adjaye has denied the allegations and has stepped away from other roles to avoid being a "distraction."
