Controversy Surrounding Screening of Adipurush in Nepal.
Screening of Hindi movies has resumed in Nepal, except for "Adipurush", which continues to face a ban due to controversy over a dialogue referring to Goddess Sita as "India's daughter". The ban on all Hindi films was announced by Kathmandu Mayor Balendra Shah, but a court order has allowed the screening of films that have acquired permission from the censor board. The Nepal Motion Picture Association has stated that all Nepali and foreign films except "Adipurush" will be screened from Friday.
