Ringling Bros. Circus Makes Comeback Without Animals
The Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey circus is returning for a 2023 North American tour, but without animals. The show will feature highwire tricks, trapeze artists, and bicycles leaping on trampolines. The circus has been reimagined and rebranded as a high-octane family event. The rebirth extends the circus’ long run that dates back to a time before automobiles, airplanes or movies. The new production design includes moveable staircases and two main stages, and audiences will have a 360-degree view with live camera feeds and virtual reality.
