Green Country Under Severe Thunderstorm Watch
A severe thunderstorm watch has been issued for parts of Green Country, including Atoka, Bryan, and Carter counties, until 10 a.m. Meteorologist Stephen Nehrenz reports a strong storm moving into Pittsburg County with possible winds up to 50 mph. Earlier storms caused hail and damaging winds in central and southwest Oklahoma.
