
Malaysian Film 'Tiger Stripes' Wins Grand Jury Prize at Cannes Critics' Week
"Tiger Stripes," the debut feature of Malaysian director Amanda Nell Eu, won the Grand Prize at Cannes’ Critics’ Week. The film tells the story of a 12-year-old girl who discovers a terrifying secret about her body and fights back to emerge as a proud, strong woman. Other awards were given to "It's Raining in the House," "Lost Country," and "The Rapture." The jury was presided over by Audrey Diwan, and included industry professionals from around the world.
