The death toll in the Taiwan golf ball factory fire has been lowered to nine, with one person still missing, after forensic analysis revealed that some bones found earlier were not human. Four firefighters were among the victims. The cause of the fire, which occurred at Launch Technologies Co., a major global supplier of golf balls, remains unclear. Over 100 people were injured in the blaze, which was extinguished on Saturday. The Ministry of Labor will conduct an occupational safety investigation into the factory and its parent company.
