Chaos and Arrests at Annual Texas Jeep Weekend Event
More than 230 arrests were made during the annual "Go Topless Jeep Weekend" in Galveston County, with 283 charges filed, including 13 felonies. Two people were critically injured, and three were shot, but their injuries were non-life-threatening. Last year, a sheriff directing traffic was seriously injured, and in 2022, 175 arrests were made during the four-day event.
