Metallica performed a cover of Elton John's "Funeral For A Friend/Love Lies Bleeding" at the Gershwin Prize tribute concert, which was filmed for a special airing on PBS. The band's performance is now available to watch, and it's part of a lineup of musicians honoring John and Bernie Taupin. Additionally, Elton John contributed to Miley Cyrus' cover of Metallica's "Nothing Else Matters" for a previous tribute project.
