"Massive Bed Recall: Over 500,000 Beds Sold at Walmart and Wayfair Pose Safety Risk"
The Consumer Product Safety Commission has recalled over 500,000 beds from Home Design, Inc. due to the risk of breaking or collapsing during use, with 128 reports of breakage and 36 injuries. The recall includes several models and sizes of upholstered low profile standard and platform beds sold in the U.S. and Canada between July 2018 and November 2023. Consumers are advised to stop using the beds and contact Home Design for free replacement slats and side rails, with repair instructions available on their website.
