
Fentanyl-Laced Letter Sent to Fulton Elections Office, Officials Warn
A letter laced with fentanyl has been sent to the Fulton County Elections Office in Georgia, prompting an investigation by state and federal authorities. Similar suspicious letters were reportedly sent to ballot counting centers in Oregon, California, and Washington. Georgia Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger called for increased penalties for election interference and emphasized the importance of ensuring free, fair, and secure elections. The FBI and U.S. Postal Inspection Service are currently investigating the matter.
