
Fatal Fuel Truck Crash Shuts Down Connecticut Highway Bridge
A fuel truck carrying thousands of gallons of fuel overturned and caught fire on a busy Connecticut interstate, killing the driver and injuring several others. The incident occurred when a passenger vehicle tire blew out, causing the truck to overturn and spill roughly 2,200 gallons of fuel onto the roadway. The southbound portion of the bridge will remain closed until officials ensure it's safe, and crews will inspect the bridge for any structural damage.
