FSU Overhauls Coaching Staff After Disappointing Season
Florida State University's head football coach, Mike Norvell, has fired offensive coordinator Alex Atkins, defensive coordinator Adam Fuller, and receivers coach Ron Dugans amid a disappointing 1-9 season. This decision follows a heavy 52-3 loss to Notre Dame, marking the team's sixth consecutive defeat. Norvell, who recently signed a 10-year extension, aims to revitalize the program, which has struggled since a strong 2023 season. Co-defensive coordinator Randy Shannon will assume defensive playcalling duties as the team prepares for its final games against Charleston Southern and Florida.
