Princess Leia's Iconic Gown Fails to Find a Buyer at Auction
The iconic white gown worn by Carrie Fisher as Princess Leia in the first "Star Wars" film failed to sell at auction, despite expectations of fetching $1.96 million. The gown, thought to have been lost, was rediscovered and restored after being stored in a London attic. While other props from films such as "Poltergeist" and "Blade Runner" sold above their estimated prices, the Star Wars gown did not find a buyer.
