Over 40 members and associates of the Heath Street Gang in Boston have been charged in federal court with racketeering conspiracy, drug trafficking, firearms, wire fraud, and financial frauds, including COVID fraud, following a two-year investigation into gang violence in Boston. The gang, operating primarily out of a public housing development, is alleged to have been involved in acts of violence, drug trafficking, and financial crimes, including organized retail theft and CARES Act fraud.
