BYD's Yangwang U9 EV Supercar showcases new suspension technology with impressive stunts.
Chinese automaker BYD has unveiled its luxury/performance YangWang U9 electric supercar, featuring a Disus suspension system that can make the car jump off the ground and drive on three wheels. The Disus system, which took over 30 months and 6 million miles of endurance testing, will be divided into several categories and will be added to BYD's extensive portfolio. The U9 has four electric motors, a 0-62 mph sprint time of under two seconds, and a driving range of up to 435 miles. BYD also previewed an all-electric off-roader called U8, which is capable of driving at up to 75 mph even if it has a flat tire.
