Two EBR Deputies Injured, Suspect Dead in Drug Search Shooting
Two East Baton Rouge Parish sheriff’s deputies were shot, one seriously injured, during the execution of a drug warrant in Baton Rouge. The suspect, who fired at officers, was killed at the scene. The incident occurred around 10:30 a.m. on June 6, and the injured deputy is expected to survive.
