A former Colorado Bureau of Investigation DNA analyst, Yvonne “Missy” Woods, intentionally manipulated data in the testing process for at least 15 years, affecting 652 cases between 2008 and 2023. An internal affairs investigation found that Woods omitted material facts, tampered with DNA testing results, and violated lab policies.
