All Elite Wrestling World Tag Team Champion Cash Wheeler, also known as Daniel Wheeler, has been arrested in Florida and charged with aggravated assault with a firearm. AEW issued a statement saying they are monitoring the situation and that Wheeler is cooperating with authorities. The arrest warrant was issued on July 28, and Wheeler has pleaded not guilty. He and his tag team partner, Dax Harwood, are scheduled to defend their championship title on August 23. Wheeler recently signed a new contract with AEW, and the arrest appears to be connected to a "road rage-type incident."
