Kurdish opposition group in Iraq signals possible Iranian ground assault

An Iranian Kurdish nationalist group based in Iraq’s Kurdistan says a cross-border ground operation into Iran is highly likely, with US contact reported but no direct talks yet; Iran’s IRGC says it struck separatist targets in Iraqi Kurdistan and warned against challenges to Iran’s territorial integrity, as drone strikes hit Iraqi airports and facilities and Baghdad and Erbil urge that Iraqi territory not be used as a launchpad for attacks.
