Turkish forces neutralize ISIS leader in Syria raid, confirms Erdogan.

Turkish intelligence forces have killed Abu Hussein al-Qurashi, the leader of the Islamic State, in a raid in the northern Syrian town of Jandaris. The raid was carried out by the Turkish national intelligence organisation, and Syrian local and security sources have confirmed the operation. The US-led coalition is still carrying out raids against IS officials in Syria, and senior IS figures have been targeted while hiding out in areas where Turkey has major influence.
