Notre Dame Reveals Restored Interior 5 Years Post-Fire

Notre Dame Cathedral in Paris has unveiled its newly restored interior, five years after a devastating fire in 2019. The reconstruction, which involved cleaning and repairing 42,000 square meters of stonework and rebuilding the roof and spire with 2,000 oak trees, has restored the cathedral to its former glory. French President Emmanuel Macron visited the site, praising the workers' efforts and highlighting the restoration as a symbol of hope. The public will be allowed to visit the cathedral starting December 8.
