"Brave Australian Man Defeats Crocodile by Biting Its Eyelid"

An Australian cattle farmer, Colin Deveraux, survived a crocodile attack by biting the predator on the eyelid after it latched onto his foot while he was checking a billabong. Deveraux kicked the crocodile, fell over, and attempted to bite its head but managed to grab onto its thick eyelid, causing it to release him. He escaped with tendon damage and foot wounds, which required extensive treatment and a skin graft. Deveraux plans to change his behavior after the incident. Saltwater crocodiles, also known as salties, can grow up to 20 feet long and weigh up to 2,200 pounds.
