Historic Birth: South Korea Welcomes First Panda Twins

A giant panda named Ai Bao has given birth to twin cubs, both female, at the Everland theme park in South Korea, marking the first time panda twins have been born in the country. The cubs and their mother are in good health, and the resort group will observe their growth before unveiling them to the public. Ai Bao, her mate Le Bao, and their previous cub Fu Bao have been the only pandas in South Korea, and Everland's Panda World has attracted 14 million visitors. The conservation efforts for giant pandas have helped increase their population from under 1,000 to over 1,800 in the wild and captivity.
