Ukrainian Orphanage Transformed by American Donations Amid War and Influx of Children

The "City of Goodness" in Ukraine has become a safe haven for around 200 children who have lost their parents or been separated from their families amid the war, thanks to American donations. The facility, founded three years ago as a refuge for women and children escaping domestic abuse, has transformed into an orphanage since the war broke out. The donations have been transformative, allowing the facility to build two new buildings and a bomb shelter to keep the children safe from Russia's relentless aerial attacks. The organization's goal is to find new, permanent homes for all 200 orphaned children at the facility.
