Around 100 people were injured when the Saga Cruises' Spirit of Discovery ship encountered rough seas off the coast of the United Kingdom. The ship's automatic safety systems were activated, causing it to shift to one side before coming to a stop. Five people were transported to hospitals, while nearly 100 suffered minor injuries. Passengers described a dire situation, with tables flying and crew members crying. The ship eventually docked in Portsmouth, and Saga Cruises apologized for the incident.
