Omar Nok, a 30-year-old Egyptian German, completed a nine-month journey from Egypt to Japan without flying, using various modes of transport like trains, horses, and cargo ships. His adventure, documented on Instagram, highlighted the warmth and hospitality of people in regions often perceived as unsafe, such as the Middle East and Central Asia. Nok's "no spoilers" travel approach allowed him to experience destinations with fresh eyes, relying on locals for guidance. He plans to return to Cairo by plane, marking the end of his 28,700-mile journey.
