Cruise Ship Disaster: Dozens Injured as Vessel Battles Stormy Seas

Approximately 100 passengers on Saga Cruises' Spirit of Adventure cruise ship were injured after the ship's safety system was activated during a storm in the Bay of Biscay. Most injuries were minor, but five people required treatment in the ship's medical facilities. The ship held its position until the weather improved. Saga Cruises will contact guests about compensation.
