Massive Train Derailment in Northern Arizona Causes Extensive Damage.

A BNSF train carrying new cars, trucks, and vans derailed just east of Williams, Coconino County, late Wednesday night. No one was hurt, and no hazardous materials were involved. The Federal Railroad Administration (FRA) has sent an inspector to the scene to conduct an investigation. BNSF is working to clear the track and begin its investigation into what caused the derailment. Since 2018, there have been more than 80 reported derailments in Arizona, with nearly 50% of those on Union Pacific and 40% on BNSF.
