Brave Surfer Warns Others Before Fatal Great White Attack in South Australia

A surfer was killed by a Great White shark while surfing at Elliston, a town in South Australia known for its epic waves and history of shark attacks. The surfer, a science and sports teacher, warned others to go to shore as the shark swam towards him. Witnesses reported that the shark thrashed around with the surfer for five minutes before disappearing with the body. The attack has echoes of last year’s Great White hit on a swimmer at Sydney’s Malabar beach.
