Father's Tragic Death Removing Venomous Snake from Daycare Center

Jerromy Brookes, a father of three, tragically died after being bitten by a potentially deadly snake while attempting to remove it from a child-care center in Queensland, Australia. The facility is now under investigation, as Brookes did not have a permit to handle or remove snakes. While fatal snake bites are rare in Australia, a couple of hundred people are hospitalized annually after coming into contact with brown snakes.
