Fatal Fire at Czech Homeless Shelter Claims Eight Lives

Eight people, six men and two women, were killed in a fire that broke out in a structure believed to be used as a shelter by homeless people in Brno, Czech Republic. The people became trapped inside the cabins, unable to find their way out because of heavy smoke. The structure was slated for demolition and the people who were caught in the blaze entered it "without authorization."
