Wrestlers' Complaints and Protests Shake Indian Wrestling Scene

Indian wrestler Vinesh Phogat, who is currently protesting against the chief of the Wrestling Federation of India, has claimed that she complained about him to Prime Minister Narendra Modi in 2021. Phogat and other wrestlers have accused Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh of several allegations, including sexual harassment of female wrestlers. Singh has denied all the allegations. Last week, the Delhi Police filed two cases against him, including one under the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act, based on a minor's complaint.
