Unconscious Woman Wins Chaotic Cheese Rolling Race in UK

The annual cheese-rolling race was held at Cooper's Hill in Gloucestershire, England, where dozens of racers chased a 7-pound wheel of Double Gloucester cheese down a near-vertical hill. The first racer to finish behind the cheese gets to keep it. Despite safety concerns, the event drew hundreds of spectators, and Canadian contestant Delaney Irving won the women's race despite being briefly knocked unconscious. The sport of cheese-rolling is believed to be much older than the race, which has been held since at least 1826.
