Mohammed Siraj, the Indian fast bowler, brought down Australian batter Marnus Labuschagne on his knees with his sheer pace during the World Test Championship final at The Oval in London. Siraj picked up a four-wicket haul in the first innings and continued to bang fast ones, hitting Labuschagne on his finger and then striking him high on the body around the thigh region, forcing him down onto the pitch. Despite a rearguard 109-run stand by Ajinkya Rahane and Shardul Thakur, Australia still managed to take a massive 173-run lead on the third day of the WTC final.
