Climber Sets Unprecedented Record Scaling World's Tallest Peaks.

Norwegian climber Kristin Harila has set a new world record for climbing the 14 peaks above 8,000 metres in just one year and five days, reaching all true summits. She is also the second woman to climb to the true summits of the 14 8,000-metre peaks. Nirmal “Nims” Purja previously completed the feat in two years, five months and 15 days, but did not reach the true summits of Manaslu and Dhaulagiri on his first attempt.
