Jerusalem Light Rail Stop Targeted in Stabbing Attack, Security Guard Injured

A 26-year-old Israeli security guard was lightly wounded in a stabbing attack at the Giv’at Hamivtar light rail station in Jerusalem. The 19-year-old Palestinian assailant from East Jerusalem was shot by another security guard at the scene and is in serious condition. The attack led to a temporary halt in the light rail service. This incident follows a suspected car-ramming attack earlier in the day, where an Israeli security guard was lightly injured.
