Russian Sailor Arrested for Alleged Warship Bomb Plot

Russia's Federal Security Service (FSB) has arrested a Russian Navy sailor accused of plotting to blow up a warship. The FSB claims that the sailor was recruited by Ukrainian special services to carry out a terror attack on a Black Sea Fleet ship carrying high-precision missile weapons. The sailor was found in possession of two improvised explosive devices when detained. The FSB also accuses the sailor of sharing state secrets with Kyiv. He has been charged with terrorism, treason, illicit trafficking of explosives, and disclosing state secrets, with a maximum penalty of life imprisonment.
