King Charles III's Coronation Celebrates Diverse Nation with Joyful Oath-taking Ceremony.

King Charles III and the Queen Consort met with well-wishers on The Mall and hosted dignitaries from around the world at Buckingham Palace ahead of the Coronation ceremony. The Coronation will be the biggest ceremonial military operation since the state funeral of former Prime Minister Sir Winston Churchill in 1965. A teenage cancer survivor, Sahil Usman, who received a British Empire Medal for services to community in Blackburn, Lancashire, during the pandemic, was invited to the Coronation. Meanwhile, anti-monarchy group Republic is planning a demonstration in Trafalgar Square and around the country. The security operation in the capital this weekend is the biggest single deployment of police in London ever.
