Pope gifts Christ's crucifixion relics for King Charles' coronation cross.

Pope Francis gifted two fragments of the True Cross to King Charles for his coronation procession. The fragments were incorporated into the Cross of Wales, which will be carried into Westminster Abbey on May 6. Crafted from recycled silver bullion, Welsh windfall timber, and Welsh slate, the cross also includes words from the last sermon of St David inscribed in Welsh. The cross will be shared between the Anglican and Catholic churches in Wales.
