Pope Francis Absent from Good Friday Procession in Rome

Pope Francis will miss the traditional Good Friday Way of the Cross procession at the Colosseum due to unseasonably cold night-time temperatures in Rome, but will watch from his home at the Vatican. The 86-year-old pope, who was recently hospitalized for bronchitis, used a wheelchair to preside over an early evening prayer service at St. Peter's Basilica. He is expected to attend an Easter Vigil Mass on Saturday night and deliver a speech on Sunday in St. Peter's Square.
