A funeral home in El Salvador has embraced the Barbie mania by offering pink coffins with Barbie linings. The Alpha and Omega Funeral Home in Ahuachapán has decorated the cloth linings of the coffins with pictures of the doll and little white stars. The funeral home has already sold 10 of these pink coffins and plans to offer more due to popular demand. This trend of Barbie-themed products has also been seen in Latin America, including pink-colored tacos and pastries, commercial planes with the Barbie logo, and even Barbie-themed protests.
