Princess Yuriko, Japanese Royal, Passes Away at 101

Princess Yuriko, the oldest member of Japan's imperial family and sister-in-law to Emperor Showa, passed away at 101 due to pneumonia. Born in 1923, she married Prince Mikasa and lived through WWII, raising her family amidst wartime hardships. Despite health improvements earlier this year, her condition worsened, leading to her death. She is survived by her daughters and granddaughters, who visited her in her final days.
