Typhoon Khanun wreaks havoc in Taiwan, disrupting markets and flights

Typhoon Khanun, the second-strongest typhoon level, has caused businesses and schools in northern Taiwan to shut down, while airlines have cancelled dozens of flights. The slow-moving typhoon is expected to bring heavy rainfall and high winds to the region, with warnings of floods. Power outages have affected thousands of households, and transportation services have been disrupted. In Japan's Okinawa, the typhoon has caused two deaths, injured dozens, and left many without power.
