Tsunami warning issued as 7.6 magnitude earthquake hits southern Philippines

A 7.6 magnitude earthquake struck off the coast of the southern Philippines island of Mindanao, prompting a tsunami warning. The quake occurred at a depth of 32 kilometers and is expected to generate tsunami waves affecting the southern Philippines, Indonesia, Palau, and Malaysia.
