Tragic Storm Claims Lives of Children at Russian Campsite

Eight people, including three small children, were killed and 29 others injured when a storm, described as a "hurricane," struck a lakeside campsite in Mari El, Russia. The campsite, located in a national park, was hit by falling trees during the storm. Authorities have launched a criminal probe into the provision of services that do not meet safety requirements. Overall, 10 people died and 76 were injured in the Privolzhsk federal district.
